About Us

Started in 2014, by Michael & Kristina McLain.  Tight Ash was originally supposed to be a local Cigar Lounge, however, life had different plans.  Thus, Tight Ash Woodworking was born.  Small at first, a couple cutting boards, noodle boards and a decent sized board that travelled the Atlantic to Italy!Now, we offer not only cutting boards but charcuterie boards, misc wooden projects, handturned items (such as pens and kitchen utensils), resin/epoxy and vinyl. We also have a CNC machine to offer a bit of personality to your projects.You can find us on Facebook, at Your Needful Things in Hillcrest, Eddies Emporium in Vestal (during the holiday season) and at Jackson's General Store in Windsor.Disabled Veteran owned (Kristina - USCG) and locally owned/operated (based in Port Crane).  We fully support our local law enforcement, veterans and first responders and as such, we always offer them a 10% discount as our appreciation.
